Franklin Herriman

October 10, 1936 — June 22, 2014


Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Franklin Aldlee Herriman, 77, of Mullan, Idaho, passed away June 22, 2014 at Shoshone Medical Center. He was born October 10, 1936 in Witter, Arkansas; Franklin was the son of Millard and Velmer (Odgen) Herriman.

Franklin moved to the Silver Valley last year from Post Falls, Idaho.

Franklin served in the military from 1954-1974. He served as civil engineer and was able to travel the world. He was a member of the 819 Civil Engineers and The Triple Nickel and Prime Beef. Franklin had a passion for horses and was a jack of all trades. If it was broke Franklin could fix it. He enjoyed spending time with his family that he loved dearly.

On May 31, 1998 Franklin was united in marriage to Trina Koplin in Conconully, Washington.

Franklin is survived by his wife Trina, of Mullan, Idaho; six children Joshua Lee Herriman, of Washington, Franklin Jonathan Aldlee Herriman, of Mullan, Idaho, Daniel (Darcy) Herriman, of Washington, Katherine (James) Rose, of Washington, David Herriman, of Washington, Coy Ray Herriman, of Washington and a step-daughter Cindy (Fred) Antrobust, of Washington. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren Wyatt, Trevor, Aaron, Brooke, Jordan, Dustin and Colton; three sisters Freeda Falloson, of Missouri, Mary Jo (Stanley) Davis, of Washington, Ellen (Art) Anderson, of Washington and a brother Troy Herriman, of Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Franklin was proceeded in death by his parents and siblings Jerry Herriman Dewey Herriman, Zeblon Herriman.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held August 1st 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg.
