Beloved wife, mother and grandmother Frances “Fran” Maxine Schwartz, of Pinehurst, Idaho passed away June 28, 2016 at her home in Pinehurst surrounded by her family.  She was born November 24, 1939 in Wardner, Idaho; Fran was the daughter of Albert and Geraldine (Lane) Carter.

Fran grew up in the Silver Valley. In 1957, she was united in marriage with William “Bill” Schwartz in Coeur d’Alene. Fran and Bill lived in Washington and Idaho over the years. For the last twelve years they have been spending winters in Yuma, Arizona.

Fran worked as a 911 dispatcher and also taught art classes in her home.

She loved artwork and oil panting, and spending time enjoying her family and friends. Fran also loved taking care of the cows that she and Bill owned for a time; she was the only one who could milk them!

Fran is survived by her beloved husband, Bill Schwartz of Pinehurst; three children, Shirley (Frank Sr.) Morden of Pinehurst, Michael (Michelle) Schwartz of Pinehurst and William Jr. (Laurie) Schwartz of Moses Lake, Washington; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Schwartz, Jordan Schwartz, Noah Morden, Brittnay Schwartz, Jasmine Schwartz, Kelsa Schwartz, and Tristan Schwartz; one sister Cecelia Samson; and 3 step-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
