Eugene Delvin Weaser, 82, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away November 17, 2015 at the family home of Kellogg. He was born May 15, 1933 in Molson, Washington; Eugene was the son of John and Helen (McKinney) Weaser.
Eugene attended and graduated from the Oroville High School of Oroville, Washington. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Eugene married Ida Ortiz on February 16, 1957 at the St. Rita’s Catholic Church of Kellogg.
Eugene and Ida moved to the Silver Valley in 1975 from Republic, Washington.
Eugene had served as a miner and had mined at the Knob Hill Mine of Republic, Washington and the Lucky Friday Mine of Mullan, Idaho.
Eugene loved and enjoyed his family and dogs, hunting and fishing.
Eugene is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-eight years Ida Weaser of the family home of Kellogg; four children Debbie (Vince) Zallocco of Renton, Washington, Doreen Boden of Spokane, Washington, Dennis Weaser of Kellogg, Idaho and Doug (Brenda) Weaser of Carlin, Nevada; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one twin sister Jeanne Lindsey of Republic, Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, one sister and three nephews.
Inurnment Graveside Services will be held in Molson, Washington in the Spring of 2016.
