Elaine “Grandma Mouse” Marie Hubbard, 83

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Elaine “Grandma Mouse” Marie Hubbard, 83, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away February 13, 2017 at the Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation- Mountain Valley of Kellogg.  She was born December 25, 1933 in Dickinson, North Dakota; Elaine was the daughter of Emory and Mary Hewson.

Elaine attended and graduated from the Pine City High School of Pine City, Washington.

Elaine married Gene Hubbard on July 9, 1955 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; Gene passed away in 1998.

Elaine, Gene and family moved to Pinehurst in 1965 from Spokane, Washington.

Elaine was a homemaker; she loved and enjoyed her family, babysitting her grandchildren, cooking and baking.

Elaine is survived by five children Hal Hubbard of Spokane, Washington, Joan and Rod Zion of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Diane and Bernie Hanson of Pinehurst, Idaho, Judy and Mark Magnus of Pinehurst, Idaho and Charles and Tracey Hubbard of Naples, Idaho; thirteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren; one brother Willard Hewson of Spokane, Washington; one sister Caroline Tucker of Merlin, Louisiana; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene, one grandson Eric Wilkinson, one brother Elmer Hewson and two sisters May Hansen and Eleanor Kjack.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. at the Spokane Memorial Gardens of Spokane, Washington with Rev. Ken Bartle officiating.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation- Mountain Valley, 601 W. Cameron Ave. Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
