Edith Anna Jasberg, 86, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away July 12, 2015 at Pacifica of Pinehurst. She was born September 20, 1928 in Wardner, Idaho; Edith was the daughter of William and Catherine (Jose) Curnow.
Edith attended and graduated from the Kellogg High School. She has lived in the Silver Valley all of her life.
Edith was first married to Sterling Page Roberts in April of 1947 in Montana, he passed away in a mining accident. She then married Donald Jasberg on December 19, 1970 at the American Lutheran Church of Kellogg; Donald passed away in September 15, 2008.
Edith had worked various jobs including serving as a motel manager. She was also very busy raising four children on her own.
Edith was a life-long member of TOPS, a member of the Red Hat Ladies Club and a member of the American Lutheran Church of Kellogg.
Edith loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed traveling and had traveled to Hawaii, Mexico City and had also enjoyed a Caribbean cruise.
Edith is survived by three children Steve (Kerry) Roberts of Post Falls, Idaho, Cheryl Kosanke of Osburn, Idaho and Cathi (Kelly) Roberts of Kellogg, Idaho; her grandchildren Kimberlee Dawes, Bryan (Amber) Roberts, Richard Kosanke, Misty Kosanke, Cheryl (Kevin) Neubauer, Blake (Crystle) Wilson and Chelsea Wilson; her great-grandchildren Brianna, Brayden, Ethan, Kendall, Damian, Shalynn, Isaac, Bryce, Jesann, Tristan, Drake and Cambria; and one great-great grandchild Adrien; one sister Amelia Thomas of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; her life-long and dear friend Jackie Kannegaard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Edith was preceded in death by her first husband Sterling Roberts, one son Mike Roberts, her second husband Donald Jasberg, two brothers and one sister.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg with Rev. Ken Bartle officiating. Refreshments will be provide at the American Lutheran Church following services.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the charity of the Donor’s choice.
