Douglas “Doug” Arthur Plummer, 62

Douglas “Doug” Arthur Plummer, 62, of Smelterville, Idaho, passed away June 15, 2022 at his home of Smelterville.  He was born May 31, 1960 in Milton Freewater, Oregon; Doug was the son of Art and Janice (Red) Plummer.

Doug has lived in the Silver Valley all of his life.  He proudly served in the U.S. Army.

After the Army, Doug worked at the Bunker Hill Mining Company Zinc Plant of Kellogg.

Doug loved and enjoyed fishing, writing and listening to music of all kinds.

Doug is survived by five sons Josh and Brandon Dodson, Jeffery, Patrick and Justin Plummer; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister Teressa Webberding of Smelterville; one brother Jeff Plummer of Spring Creek, Nevada.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Doug was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wheel Bar of Smelterville; everyone is welcome.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, 911 W. 5th Ave., Spokane, WA.  99204.
