Dorothy Maxine Quebral, 88

Dorothy Maxine Quebral, 88, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away May 28, 2016 at the Silver Wood Good Samaritan Society, Silverton, Idaho.  She was born July 16, 1927 in Rossland, British Columbia, Canada; Dorothy was the daughter of George and Kathleen (Green) DeGroff.

Dorothy has lived in the Silver Valley for the past two decades moving here from Sandpoint, Idaho.

In December of 1955, Dorothy was united in marriage to Arturo Molina Quebral in Seattle, Washington; Arturo passed away in 1976.

Dorothy was a member of the Catholic Church. She was very active in the church and also was very active in state politics.

Dorothy enjoyed collecting stamps and coins. She also was a talented seamstress making clothing for the family.

Dorothy is survived by two children Bernadette Quebral of Spokane, Washington and Danny Quebral of Sequim, Washington; one brother Phillip Hyatt; two nephews Robert and Leonard Grinde and one niece Deborah Grinde. Dorothy is also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arturo, son Guillermo and sister Patricia.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 3:00P.M. at the Pinecrest Cemetery in Sandpoint, Idaho. Her cremains will be buried next to her husband Arturo.
