Doris May Mustoe, 93, of Spokane, Washington (formerly of the Silver Valley), passed away September 20, 2013 at her home of Spokane. She was born October 9, 1919 at Southwick, Idaho; Doris was the daughter of Thomas and Rachel (Hayward) Armitage.
Doris attended and graduated from the Southwick High School of Southwick, Idaho. She married Carl Mustoe on June 9, 1938 at Southwick; Carl passed away in 1985.
Doris, Carl and their daughter Carol moved to the Silver Valley in 1941. Doris moved back to Spokane in 1988 to be near her daughter and son-in-law.
Doris was a homemaker and had served as a bookkeeper for the Enterprise Laundry of Kellogg.
Doris loved and enjoyed her family, embroidery, reading and in her earlier years fishing.
Doris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Carol and Dick Stoll of Spokane, Washington; three grandchildren Heidi, Tanya and Niko; two great-grandchildren Zackariah and Malachi; one brother Arlie Armitage of Southwick, Idaho; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, five brothers and one sister.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery of Kellogg.
