Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Deborah Lynn Riley, 49, of Silverton, Idaho passed away February 14, 2014 at the Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital of Post Falls, Idaho. She was born September 4, 1964 in Fallbrook, California; Deborah was the daughter of Jack and Virginia Best, Sr.
Deborah moved to the Silver Valley at the age of 15 from California. She attended and graduated from the Wallace High School of Wallace. Deborah attended the North Idaho College, where she studied nursing.
Deborah married Donald Riley on February 25, 1981 in Wallace.
Deborah had served as a certified nurses aide, an LPN and finally as a registered nurse. She had worked at Mountain Health Care of Kellogg, the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg and Loving Care & More Home Health Care.
Deborah was a member of the Real Life Ministries of Pinehurst. She loved and enjoyed her family, four-wheeling, camping, crafts, fishing and taking care of people. Deborah was a very loving wife and mother.
Deborah is survived by her husband Don Riley of the family home of Silverton; two children Jessica (Jake) McBryian of Silverton, Levi (Shell) Riley of Wallace; five grandchildren Britny, Elektra, Devon, Jasmyn and Kadance; her parents Jack and Virginia Best, Sr. of Wallace; her brother and sisters Jack Best, Jr. of Kellogg, Sandy Best of Louisiana and Kathy Trude of Silverton; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Ken and Myrle Riley and her sister-in-law Amy Best.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at the Real Life Ministries of Pinehurst. A potluck reception and a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Wallace Elks of Wallace following services.
