Colleen Sharon Milholland, 79, of Pinehurst, ID, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 14, 2024. Colleen was born on April 13, 1945 in Colfax, WA, a daughter of the late Gerald Fitzgerald and Virginia (Hietala) Fitzgerald.
Colleen attended Kellogg High School. On August 4, 1962 she married Everett Milholland in Kellogg, ID.
Colleen loved her family and being a homemaker. She sold Avon when her children were young and also worked as a realtor for a short time.
She enjoyed RV camping and floating the North Fork of the CDA River, bargain hunting at thrift stores and garage sales, and baking homemade cinnamon rolls for her grandkids and brownies for the church youth groups. But most of all she loved being with her family and friends and had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. Colleen belonged to Catholic Daughters of the Americas when she was young, the Red Hat Society, and was a member of Silver Valley Worship Center in her later years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters. Geraldine McCormick, Doris Schafer, and Maybelle Reed.
Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Everett Milholland of Pinehurst, ID; her children, Steven (Polly) Milholland of Spokane, WA, Brenda (Brad Pilmer) Woodbridge of Henderson, NV and Darin Milholland of Pinehurst, grandchildren Josh Woodbridge, Tyler Woodbridge, Matthew Milholland, and Megan Moreen, and her siblings Patty Pearson, Ginger Golden, Jerry Fitzgerald, and James Fitzgerald.
A celebration of Colleen’s life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 11:00 AM at the Silver Valley Worship Center in Smelterville, ID with a luncheon to follow at the Pinehurst-Kingston Lions Club in Pinehurst, ID.
