Clinton “Papa” Harry Brandt, 72
Clinton “Papa” Harry Brandt, 72, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away November 23, 2018 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. He was born May 28, 1946 in Wallace, Idaho; Clinton was the son of Harry and Ethel (Kelsey) Brandt.
Clinton attended and graduated from the Kellogg High School in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany, during the Viet Nam war. Clinton was a life-long resident of the Silver Valley.
Clinton had served as a miner and had worked at the Sunshine Mining Company and the Galena Mine. He also was a logger, working for various logging companies.
Clinton was a member of the Osburn V.F.W. #1675 and had attended the Silver Valley Assembly of God Church of Kellogg.
Clinton loved and enjoyed having fun with his grandchildren, fishing and watching T.V.
Clinton is survived by three sons Shawn Brandt of Rathdrum, Idaho, Shane Brandt of Post Falls, Idaho and Shannon Brandt of Kellogg, Idaho; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law Sherril & Vic Voves of Worley, Idaho; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Jerry and Harrison, two sisters Carla and Laurel, one grandson Joshua and Clinton’s sons’ mother Donna Jean Wilson.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg, Idaho with Rev. Larry Harpel officiating. Interment will be held at the Shoshone Memorial Gardens of Pinehurst.
Clinton had a very strong faith in Jesus Christ. He was dearly loved by his sons and sister and will be so very much missed.
