Charlene Meligan

Beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Charlene Ellen Meligan, 65, of Kingston, Idaho, passed away August 3, 2014 at Kootenai Medical Center. She was born December 13, 1948 in Wallace, Idaho.

On Januaury 26, 1966 Charlene was united in marriage to Eugene Meligan.

Charlene graduated for North Idaho College with a degree in nursing. She served as a RN for Shoshone Medical Center for most of her career.

Charlene loved and enjoyed being with her family. Charlene enjoyed going huckleberry picking and collecting firewood with her husband Eugene. She also enjoyed wood working, going up the river and traveling to the Oregon coast. Charlene had a kind heart, she had love and respect for all animals especially her dogs Hoppi and Harley.

Charlene is survived by her mother Doris (Dougall) Moran, of Coeur d’Alene; her son Kenny Meligan of Kingston, Idaho; a grandson Brandon Meligan, of Kellogg, Idaho; siblings Claud (Reberta) Roberts, of Page, Idaho, John (Coline) Roberts, of Mcphee Gultch, Idaho, Melva Roberts, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews Jene Ann Seagraves, Joe Hollingsworth, Amanda Cook, Tina Roberts, Christina Roberts, Claudia Sharp and Kera Roberts. Charlene was proceeded in death by her husband Eugene Meligan and her father Joe Roberts.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 3:30 P.M., at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg, Idaho with Pastor Corey Berti officiating. Following the service a pot luck reception will take place at West Shoshone Park in Pinehurst, Idaho.
