Cathy Carol Wilson (Jones), 67

Mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Cathy Carol Wilson (Jones), 67, of Cataldo, Idaho, passed away May 28, 2017 at her home. She was born March 15,1950 in Richwood, West Virginia, the eldest child of Earl and Jaunita (Elders) Jones.

At a young age Cathy moved with her family to Idaho. In 1967, she was united in marriage to John Wilson in St. Maries, Idaho. Together they had two sons, James and Robert. The marriage later ended in divorce. Cathy had a long companionship with Buck Wood, who remained by her side at the time of her passing.

Cathy loved the outdoors. She enjoyed spending her time hunting, fishing and huckleberry picking. Throughout her life, Cathy enjoyed breeding and raising her daschunds.  Her dogs were her other children and she loved them very much.

Cathy is survived by two sons, James (Lisa) Wilson of St. Maries, Idaho and Robert (Tiffany) Wilson of Lewiston, Idaho; one brother Don Jones of Fernwood, Idaho; six grandchildren Josh, Alyssa, Jordyn, Ashlie, Madison and Kassidie; and step-father, Mel Woltering of St. Maries, Idaho; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Charlene Byers.

A private, family service will be held at a later date.
