Bonnie Kay Fannan, 68
Beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Bonnie Kay Fannan, of Kingston, Idaho, passed away on February 10, 2017 with her family by her side at Hospice House in Coeur d‘Alene. She was born July 3, 1948 in Arcata, California. Bonnie was the daughter of Ole and Theresa (Reda) Hansen.
Bonnie grew up and attended High School in Arcata, California. At the age of 18 Bonnie moved to Washington and later to Illinois before settling in the Silver Valley in 1975.
Bonnie was a homemaker who raised five children. She also spent time working as a caregiver at the Good Samaritan Nursing home in Silverton.
On July 23, 1983 Bonnie was united in marriage to Frank Fannan in Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho.
In Bonnie’s free time she enjoyed huckleberry picking, going boating and traveling to the Oregon coast. Most of all Bonnie loved being with her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchild.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 33 years Frank of Kingston, Idaho; three children, Wetzel (Melissa) Hill of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jesse Fannan of Kingston, Idaho and Corinna (Brock) Waldo of Pinehurst, Idaho; her mother Theresa Hansen of Kellogg, Idaho; two siblings Larry (Lori) Hansen of Redding, California and Carol (Dave) Clauson of Mullan, Idaho; a nephew Todd Hansen and a niece Monica Hansen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Tyler Hill, Alyssa Hill, Savannah Hill, Lillian Hill, Zoey Waldo, Dalton Waldo and Alex Hill and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Ole Hansen and her two sons William Fannan and Jeremy Hill.
Bonnie loved her family and life and will be missed forever.
A private family celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at a later date.
