Blaine Robert Keppner, 62, of Mullan, Idaho passed away in his sleep on April 3, 2014 at his home of Mullan. He was born December 5, 1951 in Wendell, Idaho; Blaine was the son of Fred and Evelyn (Dixon) Keppner.
Blaine and his family moved to Mullan in 1952 and resided at the Hale Fish Hatchery until 1964. He attended and graduated from the Mullan High School in 1970; he then attended the North Idaho Junior College before joining the Air Force in 1971.
Blaine resided in Colorado after he left the Air Force and then moved to Portland, Oregon in 1992; he moved back to Mullan in 1997.
Blaine is survived by his sister Kaye Williams of Portland, Oregon; his step-sister Cynthia Moore of Spirit lake, Idaho and his step-brother Keith Smith of Murietta, California. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Jennings Keppner in 1977 and his mother Evelyn Keppner Smith in 2012.
Cremation will be held and upon his request no memorial services will be held.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Mullan Fire Department.
