Billie Frances Curtis, 79
Billie Frances Curtis, 79, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away September 16, 2016 at Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho. She was born July 15, 1937 at Midnight, northwest of Mullan, Idaho; Billie was the daughter of William and Treva (Dunigan) Payton.
Billie was born and raised in the Silver Valley. In 1955 she graduated from Mullan High School. She then went on to attend North Idaho College where she received her realtors license.
On July 10, 1954 Billie was united in marriage to Jim Curtis in Mullan, Idaho. Together they raised four children. This past July they celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Billie was a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and was a Catholic Daughter. She also belonged to the Red Hat Ladies Club. In her free time Billie enjoyed oil painting and crocheting, She also enjoyed going on trips to Glacier National Park with her family. Billie loved spending time with her daughter Connie, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Billie is survived by her husband Jim Curtis of Osburn, Idaho; three children Constance Curtis, Catherine (David) Carroll and Harvey Curtis II; three grandchildren Krista Kirby, Katrina Kirby and Curtis Rude; five great-grandchildren Hollee Warren, Anthony Kirby, Jacob Depew, Nicholos Depew and Duey Mathnay. Billie was preceded in death by her parents William and Treva Payton, two brothers Jimmy and Ralph Payton and her daughter Teresa Marie Curtis.
