Betty Jo Wilkins Fuller, 81, of Wallace, ID was born on August 7, 1942 to Walter and Myla Wilkins in Wallace, Idaho. She died on May 25, 2024 with her husband next to her at Pacifica Care Facility in Pinehurst, ID. She spoke of memories during her childhood spent with her grandparents,Bill and Margaret Wilkins.

Betty Jo graduated from Wallace High School in 1960. Betty Jo went to work at Old National Bank in Spokane, and a few years later returned to Wallace working for Idaho First Bank. In 1963, she met Ronald Fuller, they married in 1965, and lived in Prichard, Idaho until moving to the Nine Mile Road home in Wallace in 1971. She lived in that home until moving to Pacifica Care in 2021.

Betty Jo was active in her community as a member of Elks, Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary. She worked in banking for twenty-nine years. Following her retirement, Betty Jo worked part-time at the Wallace Silver Shop until suffering a brain aneurism in 2013. In 2015, she suffered a stroke that significantly impacted her sight. Ronald cared for Betty Jo until 2021 when she was moved to Pacifica. He continued to be by her side, visiting typically every other day, throughout her loving care in that facility.

Betty Jo is survived by her husband, Ronald; son, Ron (Cindi) Fuller of Spokane; and daughter, Karlene (Eric) Dysland of Casper, Wyoming. She has four grandchildren, Makenzy Dysland, Ryan Dysland, Shelbi Fuller, and Hannah Fuller.

Betty Jo is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Myla Wilkens; brother, Butchy; sister, Roberta, and multiple cousins.
