Beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, Austin Tyler North, of Smelterville, Idaho, passed away July 21, 2015 at Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho. He was born January 7, 2005 in Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho. Austin was the son of Cory North and Jennifer Hoffman.
Austin grew up here in the Silver Valley and attended Pinehurst Elementary School were he made many friendships during his time there. .
Austin didn’t have a mean bone in his body. He was always laughing and joking around with others and could be known, as a bit of a smart-aleck. He loved having his picture taken and was always making a silly face for the camera. He also enjoyed working on cars with his dad and tinkering on his motorcycle. He enjoyed going hunting, shooting guns, painting, playing golf and wrestling.
Austin is survived by his Father Cory North of Smelterville, Idaho, his mother Jennifer Hoffman of Pinehurst, Idaho; two brothers Connor North of Smelterville, Idaho and Allen Ott of Pinehurst, Idaho; Grandparents Ken and Susan Zeitz of Pinehurst, Idaho Ted and Karen North of Pinecreek, Idaho and Bert Webb of Kimberly, Idaho. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Austin was preceded in death by his grandparents Bud and Jane Gravelle, his grandmother Lorretta Ward, his grandfather Steve Gravelle and his uncle Gabe Gravelle.
A celebration of Austin’s life will be held on Saturday, July 25th 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Silver Valley Worship Center with Pastor Corey Berti Officiating. The family suggests to wear a motocross jersey if you have one and to please bring a hot wheels car in honor of Austin that will be donated to a charity of the family’s choice.
