Arlene Lesterberg

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Arlene June Pedersen Lesterberg, of Kellogg, Idaho passed away on November 14, 2015 at Mountain Valley Health and Rehab in Kellogg, Idaho, where she was a resident for 8 years. Arlene was born on the family farm near Plentywood, Montana to Marinus and Carrie (Olsen) Pedersen on July 15, 1930.

She married Arthur Lesterberg on April 15, 1950 in Plentywood, Montana. They moved to Pinehurst, Idaho in 1962 from Reserve, Montana.

Arlene worked at the Pik Kwik store in Kellogg for many years. She loved her family and greatly enjoyed spending time with them and baking and cooking for them. She also enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Arlene is survived by her children Ron (Evelynn) Lesterberg of Pinehurst; Wanda (Glen) Schilter of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Bruce (Joyce) Lesterberg of Post Falls; and Wayne (Marshella) Lesterberg of Rathdrum; her brother Maxwell Pedersen of Polson, Montana; 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur and her siblings, Kenneth Pedersen, Seene Gunderson, Clarence Pedersen, Ovidia Medtvet, Alton Pedersen and Merlin Pedersen.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, 3P.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel, 106 S. Main Street, Kellogg.
