Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and sister, Annie Mary Haddock, 78, of Smelterville, Idaho, passed away January 6, 2014 at the family home of Smelterville. She was born November 10, 1935 at Papalote, Texas; Annie was the daughter of Gus and Emma (Schroeder) Nussman.
Annie married William “Jack” N. Haddock, Jr. on August 30, 1952 at Liberty, Texas; Jack preceded her in death on April 28, 2009.
Annie had worked as a waitress at Barney’s Restaurant and Bar of Seeley Lake, Montana. Jack and Annie moved to the Silver Valley in 1987 from Seeley Lake. Annie and Jack enjoyed traveling to various festivals throughout the Northwest with their merchandise and food booth.
Annie loved and enjoyed her family, cooking and baking-one year she won first place with her huckleberry cake at the Wallace Huckleberry Festival; Annie also loved gardening and her animals and animals loved her. Annie was a wonderful mother; she was very loving and giving.
Annie is survived by two sons Alan (Beverley) Haddock of Kellogg, Idaho and Gene (Jennifer) Haddock of Mile City, Montana; two daughters Georgia Ann Haddock of Kellogg, Idaho and Pamellia (Terry Mayer) Franklin of Smelterville; thirteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; three sisters Dora Koop of Skidmore, Texas, Cathy Harvey of Squires, Missouri and Betty Gamboa of Alice, Texas; one brother Bubba Nussman of Shreveport, Louisiana; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, one son William Carl Haddock and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., at the New Life Baptist Church of Pinehurst, Idaho with Rev. Tim Harris officiating. Interment will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery of Kellogg, Idaho.
