Andrew “Andy” Vernon Jolliff, 68

Andrew Vernon Jolliff, 68, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away June 5, 2016 at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho.  He was born July 5, 1947 in St. Maries, Idaho; Andy was the son of Eugene Lee and Virginia “Mary Lou” (Tow) Jolliff.

Andy has lived in the St. Maries, Silver Valley areas all of his life.  He attended and graduated from the Kellogg High School.  Andy then attended the University of Idaho.

Andy was a logger and had worked at St. Maries Logging, the Metzer Shake Mill and other various logging companies.

Andy was a founding member of the Small Loggers Council and a thirty year member of A.A.  He loved and enjoyed fishing, gardening and wood carving.

Andy is survived by four children Tori (Mark) VanAllen of Spokane Valley, Washington; Billie Jolliff of Smelterville, Idaho; Tami (Tom) Atkins of Pinehurst, Idaho and Cassie Jolliff and Garrett Shoesmith of Fernwood, Idaho; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother Mike Jolliff of Bullhead City, Arizona; two half-sisters Connie Webb of Yakima, Washington and Kim Wiley of Osburn, Idaho; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.  Andy is also survived by his beloved dog Blackjack and his fishing chums Del, Gene, Ed and Repo Bob.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Gary Jolliff and his beloved dog Number One.

A Celebration of Andy’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Smelterville City Park of Smelterville, Idaho; this will be potluck and everyone is welcome.

The Family suggests that memorials may be made to Shoshone Pet Rescue, P.O. Box 884, Kellogg, Idaho 83837 or to the charity of the Donor’s choice.
