Alvin Lee Clemson, 65
Beloved husband, father and brother, Alvin Lee Clemson, 65, of Meridian, Idaho (formerly of the Silver Valley), passed away on February 13, 2018 at his home of Meridian. He was born November 18, 1952 in Spokane, Washington; Alvin was the son of Jack and Catherine (Cochrane) Clemson.
Alvin was united in marriage to Julia Hatfield on October 13, 1973 in Mackey, Idaho.
Alvin had lived in the Silver Valley for many years, before moving to California in 1982 and then in 1996, he moved to the Boise- Meridian area.
Alvin attended and graduated from the Kellogg High School in 1971. He then attended the North Idaho College. Alvin served a four year electrician apprenticeship with the Bunker Hill Mining Company. He then moved to California working for the Kaiser Cement Company and later the Mitsubishi Cement Corporation, before moving to the Boise area in 1996, where he worked for Micron.
Alvin is survived by his beloved wife of forty-four years Julia Clemson of Meridian, Idaho; three children Chelsy Clemson of Meridian, Amanda Clemson of Kuna, Idaho and Kimberly Clemson of Meridian; one sister Jackie King of Georgia. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents and half- brother Jon Clemson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg. Interment will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery of Kellogg. A reception and a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel Gathering Center following services.
