Agnes Marie Lewis, 87

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Agnes Marie Lewis, 87, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away June 21, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. She was born February 10, 1933 in Vernal, Utah; Agnes was the daughter of Mark and Edna (Dudley) Pope.

Agnes was a mother to five children when she decided to go back to school and finish her high school diploma. She then went to work for the Forest Service and worked there for 17 and a half years before retiring.

In 1973, Agnes was united in marriage to Calvert Lewis in Logan, Utah. Calvert passed away in 2006.

Agnes was a talented seamstress. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting and knitting. She also enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family.

Agnes is survived by her five children Bruce (Nadine) Hanks, David Hanks, Melody (Reed) Borup, Nancy (Michael) Alsop, Arlen B. (Heidi) Hanks; three step-children Max Lewis, Caroline (Leon) Larsen and Lynn (Bonnie) Lewis; thirteen siblings; 26  grandchildren, over 50 great-grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. She is also survived by and numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband Calvert, her infant child Calla Roseltha, two stepchildren Claudia and Kathy and her two brothers Wayne and Phillip.

A private family burial will take place at the Dingle Cemetery in Dingle, Idaho.
