William Adelbert Mills, 77

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, William Adelbert Mills, 77, of Cataldo, Idaho, passed away October 5, 2019 at the family home.  He was born January 9, 1942 in Tacoma, Washington; William was the son of Lawrence and Mildred (Stark) Mills.

William worked as a millwright and an electrician for numerous years before retiring.

On January 9, 1965 William was united in marriage to Pauline Meridieth in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they raised four children.

William was known as a jack of all trades and a master of none. He loved tinkering with things and making his own custom creation. He especially loved customizing car models and restoring full size cars including his 1954 Ford Skyliner. When William wasn’t working on cars he could be found with his nose in a book. He also had a sweet tooth for tootsie rolls.

William is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Pauline; three children Bill (Sherrie) Mills, Tawnya Cole and Charlene Larsen; seven grandchildren Dana, Sydney, Jaymee, Christopher, Kristian, Emily and Wyatt; seven great-grandchildren James, Matthew, Kiara, Jeremy Jr. Frejya, Loki and Kaleah. He is also survived by his sister Shirley “Punky” (George) Howry and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  William was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Lora Jean and son-in-law Larry Cole.

“I will love you till the 12th of never and that’s a long long time.”
